Chautauqua Works Summer Youth Employment Program is gearing up

Chautauqua Works Summer Youth Employment Program is gearing up for the 2023 Summer Program.

Each summer, Chautauqua Works connects Chautauqua County youth ages 14 to 20 with entry-level jobs in a variety of industries, including government agencies, hospitals, summer camps, non-profits, small businesses, museums and retail organizations.

To be eligible for the Summer Youth Employment Program, you must:

¯ Reside in Chautauqua County

¯ Be between 14-20 years of age

¯ Meet income eligibility guidelines that can be found at www.chautauquaworks.com.

To apply pick up an eligibility packet at either one of the Chautauqua Works locations at 4 E. Third St., Jamestown, or 407 Central Ave., Dunkirk; or call the Chautauqua Works office at 716-661-9553 to request an eligibility packet. Packets are also available at www.chautauquaworks.com.

The individual will be asked to return the completed Eligibility Packet back to Chautauqua Works. Eligibility packets will be available May 1. Completed eligibility packets will be accepted until May 19. Mailed applications must be postmarked no later than May 19 to be considered for the Summer Youth Employment Program.
