SILVER CREEK — Chautauqua Italian American Organization better known as CIAO, is hosting a potluck luncheon, on May 17 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church auditorium at noon. The public is invited.

Jane Russo, Marriane Serio, and Bev Pagano are the hostesses for this event. Roast beef on weck will be provided by the club, as well as table settings, coffee and water. Each member is asked to bring a dish to pass (plus serving utensil) for the amount of 10 people, their favorite drink, other than those mentioned and any type of game you would like to play.

Please make your reservation by Saturday. Seating is limited so, respond quickly. Send your reservations to Bev Pagano bevpagano@gmail.com or call 716-680-0327. The cost for non-members is $10 and checks can be made out to CIAO, mailed to Nance Ortolano, 10 Carol Avenue, Fredonia, NY 14063. Checks needed to hold reservations.

In true Italian custom, if there is food left over you are welcome to bring your own take out container, as CIAO will not provide any. Just remember to be respectful of others so all can enjoy!

Also, the group is planning on having basket raffles. If any member would like to donate a small basket to raffle at the luncheon, please let Bev Pagano know. Everyone likes to win, so the more baskets the more chances! If anyone would like to help with this activity, help is always welcomed. Again, please let Bev Pagano know if you are willing to help.

New members are always welcome, you don’t have to be Italian to join CIAO! Cost to join CIAO is $5 per year renewable in August.
