FREWSBURG — A multi-family home in the town of Carroll was damaged after fire broke out Saturday evening. Firefighters from a dozen departments assisted.

Around 10 p.m., crews were alerted to the blaze on Ivory Road, east of Frewsburg in Carroll.

In a message posted to Facebook, the Falconer Fire Department said the fire may have started in a shed before spreading to the property.

Volunteers spent several hours on scene. Firefighters from Frewsburg, Kiantone, Busti, Falconer, Kennedy, Ashville, Gerry, Lakewood, Ellington, Randolph, East Randolph and Cold Spring assisted.

Chautauqua County EMS, the county’s FAST Team and a county fire coordinator also responded.
