1 min read

The annual Laurel Memorial Run/Walk newspaper sale takes place Friday. Again this year, the OBSERVER and The Post-Journal will print a special section focusing on the Laurel Run/Walk. Volunteers will sell the papers from 6 to 10 a.m. at various locations in the Chautauqua County area, including the drive-thru lanes of local Tim Hortons. Pictured from right in the back row are newspaper Editor John D'Agostino; Laurel Run/Walk founders Elaine and Wayne Hotelling; Gina and Dave Kron, owners of the Tim Hortons franchises in Cassadaga, Dunkirk and Fredonia; and Scott Kelly, Area Manager. In front, the Kron's daughter Andrea DeLaura, administrator of the local Tim Hortons franchises, poses with three of Dave and Gina's grandchildren: Mason, Leo and Louis. Proceeds from the newspaper sale will be directed to The Resource Center and Filling the Gap, Inc.., to enhance employment and work training opportunities for people with disabilities in Chautauqua County.
