SILVER CREEK -- The Silver Creek Seniors met on Aug. 8 with 23 members present.
Vice President Jan Snyder opened the meeting with everyone saying the pledge to the flag and singing "God Bless America." Chaplain Pauline Flitt read the passage "The Lord is my Shephard" in remembrance of our past president Ed Newman. Lunch included sloppy joes and side dishes. The 50-50 winners were Stan Thompson, Eleanor Lemiszko and Sue Borowski. Winners of the gifts were Judy Domanski, Arlene Miller and Gene Chesbro. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Lorrie Newman, Stan, Pauline (3 times) and Gene. .Lorrie called bingo and winners were: Gene Chesbro (twice) Carol DePasquale, Eleanor (3 times), Janice, Ginny Chesbro, Enabell Mirando and Joan Suski.
Next week's luncheon will feature corn on the cob, pulled pork sandwiches and desserts. The Silver Creek Seniors meet every Tuesday at 1 p.m. For information call 716-934-2170.
