The Eddy girls head to Gowanda Elementary School on Tuesday to kick off the 2023-24 academic year. Third-grader Jassidy, first-grader Jarelyn and Pre-Kindergartner Jade show off their backpacks and are ready to learn. Schools also opened in Fredonia and Cassadaga Valley while other area districts will open today or Thursday.
