Genealogy class at Anderson-Lee Library

Gail Dash

SILVER CREEK — The Anderson-Lee Library at 43 Main St., will offer two programs at the library on researching your family history and genealogy. Gail Pugh Dash of Cassadaga will present the programs on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. for a follow-up session. Gail is the current Vice-President and past President of the Chautauqua County Genealogical Society; Secretary and Past Registrar for the Jamestown Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution; and Charter Secretary/Historian for the Celea Sampson Cole Daughters of 1812. Handouts will be provided.

These sessions will focus on the who, what, when, where, and why, of genealogy and family research and the brick walls that spring up out of nowhere. Bring a notebook or an electronic device for taking notes. Registration is required to ensure seating for all. Please register by visiting the library’s website at www.andersonleelibrary.org, calling 716-934-3468, or stopping by 43 Main St.
