Silver Creek reports 33 EMS calls in July

SILVER CREEK — The month of July was another busy month for the Silver Creek Fire Department, as the Village of Silver Creek reported 59 total calls to the department at its recent Village Board meeting.

Among those 59 calls included six motor vehicle accidents, one structure fire, and 33 Emergency Medical Services calls. The 59 total calls are up by seven from the previous month, and up 20 since the month of May.

To assist the department, Village Board approved the application of Eva Tytka as a new member of the Silver Creek Fire Department.

The village is seeking a new worker for the Department of Public Works. Possession of a Class B CDL license is highly preferred.

The next meeting of the Silver Creek Village Board will be Sept. 18 at 7 p.m., as the regularly scheduled meeting set for Sept. 4 was cancelled because of the Labor Day holiday.
