Recently, officers past and present of the Chautauqua County American Legion found their way to Buffalo, at the Niagara Frontier Post 1041, to attend a dinner honoring the new National Commander Daniel J. Seehafer. The commander gave an inspirational and motivating speech about engaging veterans and saving lives. The American Legion has recently committed to a program designed to identify and reduce the rate of veteran suicide nationwide with compassionate assistance and direction to help with issues facing many veterans.
