Kevin Muldowney

Chautauqua County Legislator Kevin Muldowney announces his re-election bid representing District 1 which includes parts of the City of Dunkirk and West Town of Dunkirk. Muldowney is endorsed by the City of Dunkirk Republican Party and Dunkirk First Party.

Legislator Muldowney brings a great depth and breadth of experience to the role with 8 years as a County Legislator and currently serving as Chairman of Planning and Economic Development Committee and Member of IDA board. While a member of the legislature the county property tax rate has decreased 8.7%, while inflation has increased costs 27%.

Muldowneyás previous experience included 10 years as a City of Dunkirk Councilmen serving as Chairman of Economic Development whose projects included the Boardwalk, SUNY Incubator, Dunkirk Lofts and Music on the Pier.

Muldowney has also been involved for over 20 years with Muldowney Development. Since their initial residential investment, Muldowney Development’s portfolio has expanded to include numerous residential and commercial properties in the Dunkirk area.

Legislator Muldowney looks forward to continuing to serve and would be honored by your vote to re-elect him. He resides in Dunkirk with his wife Marybeth and has 2 grown sons, Patrick and Daniel.
