SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Seniors met on Nov. 7 with 23 members in attendance.
Vice President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag. A pot luck lunch was enjoyed by all. The members voted on having meetings through the winter. Phone calls will be made if the group has to cancel due to bad weather.
Door Prizes were won by Jeanne Blakely, Joan Militello and Gene Chesbro. The 50-50 winners were Bob Fancher, Don Hoeber and Marge Church. Wheel of Fortune winners included Dixie Carlson, Sue Borowski, Elaine Wojda, Don and Stan Thompson (twice). Janice called bingo and the winners were:.Eleanor Lemiszko (4 times), Joan Suski, Harry Suski, Sue, Jan Polisoto, Marge and Ginny Chesbro. Next week's lunch will be Pizza and desserts. The meeting ended with all singing "Young at Heart".
The Silver Creek Senior Group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. People over the age of 62 are eligible to attend. Call Lorrie for information at 716-934-2170.
