Dunkirk and Fredonia fourth-graders participated in "Take Me To Vote," sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua. Students took their card to the polls with their parent, guardian, or grandparent and a poll worker signs the card. The student then brings the card back to their teacher and the class with the most returned signed cards by a poll worker gets a pizza party. The card includes the days for early voting and the general election date as a reminder to the eligible voter or voters in the family. Today is Election Day and polls are open until 9 p.m.
