MAYVILLE — The Buffalo Bills’ snow sculpture, located outside of Andriaccio’s Restaurant, has already received a new friend, and there may be more sculptures forthcoming.
The owners of Andriaccio’s eatery, as recently reported by The Post-Journal, commissioned local arborist and artist, Vince Liuzzo, to design and create a large helmet of Buffalo Bills’ player, Josh Allen, jersey number 17.
However, with the Bills most recent Wild Card playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, another sculpture was crafted onsite — with plans of adding additional sculptures to coincide with each victory earned by the Bills.
“With the Bills’ last victory, we added to the story being told outside our family restaurant,” said Sally Andriaccio, co-owner of the family eatery. “We’re trying to help keep the Bills’ momentum moving forward with each victory they achieve.”
The latest snowy addition is an actual sculpture of the Bills’ starting quarterback.
“Vince Liuzzo sculpted an image of Josh Allen doing his touchdown pose,” Andriaccio said. “Vince is just super talented, and his sculptures are a local favorite.”
What might the next sculpture be if the Bills earned a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs during their scheduled playoff game Sunday?
“I’m not 100% sure,” Andriaccio said. “We tend to let Vince take the lead when it comes to the artistic side of the creations. All I know for sure is it will be Buffalo Bills themed.”
