Dunkirk school ‘parent and family’ Zoom today
After twice postponing a community advisory committee meeting, the Dunkirk City School District is holding a “Parent and Family Meeting” on Zoom today.
The hour-long online session will begin at 5 p.m., according to a post on the district’s official Facebook page.
“Join the DHS administrative team to hear updates on the progress of our school’s initiatives and changes we plan to make based on your feedback,” the post invites.
The meeting comes days after the inaugural meeting of a so-called “family advisory committee” was postponed. The school district promised to reschedule.
However, the Jan. 31 meeting that didn’t happen was itself a rescheduling of a meeting that was supposed to happen in November.
District Superintendent Michael Mansfield did not respond to requests for comment last week about the postponed meetings.
