Patients in need of foot and ankle care now have access to expert treatment at The Chautauqua Center with the addition of Dr. Mohammad Khan.

Dr. Khan will spearhead the creation of a comprehensive podiatry program at TCC’s Dunkirk location. He is a highly skilled, second-generation podiatrist with expertise in treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions across all age groups. His services will include: Diabetic foot care, fungal toenail treatment, ingrown toenail care, pain management for conditions like plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and tendonitis, wound care and limb salvage, orthotics, skin lesion management, peripheral neuropathy treatment and others

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Khan to The Chautauqua Center,” TCC Health CEO Michael Pease said. “His addition will significantly enhance our ability to provide quality, accessible foot and ankle care to our community.”

Dr. Khan will be available for appointments Monday through Thursday, primarily at TCC’s Dunkirk office (75 E Third St.) He is also in the process of establishing himself through Brooks Hospital to perform surgical procedures and future wound care services.

Dr. Khan, DPM, DABPM, CWSP, AACFAS, is a highly accomplished podiatrist with expertise in foot and ankle surgery, wound management, and research. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University, followed by residency and Chief Residency at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital. Dr. Khan further distinguished himself through a Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Research Fellowship at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He comes to TCC Health from the Neighborhood Health Center (FQHC) in Buffalo, NY and holds a faculty appointment at Catholic Health System PMSR/RRA Residency.

Dr. Khan’s dedication to the field is reflected in his numerous board certifications, society memberships, honors, and awards. He actively contributes to podiatric medicine through research publications, lectures, peer reviews for scientific journals, and editorial positions. Dr. Khan’s commitment to excellence and ongoing education ensures he provides the highest quality care to his patients.
