CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga proudly presents the Cassadaga Lakes Summer Concert Series.

Cassadaga Beach, located on Park Avenue in the village, will host the following:

– The annual Strawberry Social with the Cassadaga Area Concert Band on Wednesday, June 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The shortcakes are free (donations happily accepted) and the 30+ member band will perform concert, show tunes, patriotic melodies and some pop music.

– On Sunday, June 23, the Untouchables will grace the floating stage with blues, soul, jazz and pop from 5-7 p.m.

– OsbornNash will bring their folk and pop acoustic mix on Sunday, July 7, from 5-7 p.m.

– Rustic Ramblers (traditional country) will appear on Sunday, July 21, from 5-7 p.m.

– Midnight Recovery will rock the floating stage on Sunday, Aug. 4 with their classic rock from 5- 7 p.m.

– Uncle Ben’s Remedy will present outlaw country and Americana music on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 5-7 p.m.

– Furious George will play oldies to present day favorites Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Note the time change for this last concert due to Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department 100th Anniversary Celebration/Labor Day events happening earlier. There will be more information about this at a later date.

In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to Cassadaga Fire Hall or American Legion Post 1290.

Sponsors will be announced at the concerts. All concerts are free. Cassadaga Beach is family-friendly with lifeguards on duty for swimming (starting June 29), a playground, and handicapped accessible. Come by boat or come by land and bring your own chair or blanket. Bring a picnic or buy refreshments from Duper’s Catering. Duper’s will be at every concert except for June 19. Beach parking is limited, so please park at the nearby church, library, or across the street from the fire hall, if you are willing and able.
