Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, May 14 with 21 members present. President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. The group welcomed Randy Nurmi as a new member. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “A Prayer for Mothers” and gave a blessing on the members and the pot luck lunch.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Paulin, Candy Weitz and Lorrie Newman. Door prizes were won by Candy, Joan Militello and Ruth Sheeler. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Lorrie, Joan Suski, Candy (twice). Tony Borrello and Earl Sheeler. Candy called bingo and winners were: Sally Shevlin, Lorrie, Don Hoeber, Pauline (3 times), Arlene Miller, Sue Borowski, Randy, Ginny Chesbro, Al Wilson, Judy Hahn and Gene Chesbro.

Next Tuesday’s lunch will be hot dogs and salads. The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call 716-934-2170.
