The Fredonia Garden Club will hold a celebration on Saturday afternoon in Barker Commons Park to celebrate its 100-year anniversary. The festivities commence at noon with a welcome and refreshments. A floral arrangement presentation with Shaun Lord begins at 1 p.m., then Birding with John and Bev Ruska follows at 2 p.m. Robin Carr will present The Importance of Native Plants at 3 p.m., which is followed by a question and answer session, drawings, and closing remarks. Senator George Borrello is among the guests expected to attend the event.
