Silver Creek Senior Citizens met June 4

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, June 4 with 24 members present.

Vice President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. She then welcomed visitor John Czuba. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “I’ve Never Been to Heaven” and gave a blessing on the members and the lunch.

The 50-50 raffle winners were Carol DePasquale, Eleanor Lemiszko, and Earl Sheeler. Door prizes were won by Carol, Sue Borowski and Earl. Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Eleanor, Enabell Mirando, Harry Suski, Ruth Sheeler, Gene Chesbro and Don Adams. Bingo winners were: Joan Suski (twice), John, Eleanor, Sue, Elaine Wojda, Pauline, Al Wilson, Janice and Harry.

Tuesday’s lunch will feature hamburgers and salads. (Desserts are always welcome). The club meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 1823 Lake Road, Silver Creek and is open to the senior public. Anyone wishing information about the meetings, please call 716-934-2170.
