Chautauqua County United Ways kickoff campaign

The merged United Ways of Chautauqua County will hold two kickoff events next week to signal the start of their 2024 Fundraising Campaign.

This year marks the first time ever for a combined, county-wide fundraising campaign. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Stronger Together”, a message which not only applies to the now merged United Ways of northern and southern Chautauqua County – but also to the impact which the county now stands to make by rallying behind a unified United Way.

The first of the two kickoff events will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace on Central Avenue in the city. The second kickoff event will be held at the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House on Main Street in Bemus Point. The 2024 Campaign Chairs Kelly Borrello and Bill Soffel will both be at each of the two kickoff events – as will United Way staff, Board Members, local dignitaries, elected officials and others.

Join us in celebrating our community’s support of United Way and all of the impact that the donor dollars raised during the campaign will enable United Way to make in Chautauqua County.

Donations made to the United Ways of Chautauqua County go to support 48 programs facilitated locally by our 34 partner agencies. As independent agencies last year, the two United Ways of Chautauqua County impacted the lives of local individuals 32,991 times. Now, as a merged organization, the increase in impact which United Way will be able to have in the community will be exponential.

The kickoff event will feature the premiere of the 2024 Campaign video, which can be found online at United Way’s YouTube channel. The video highlights the personal stories of local individuals who have each been served by programs funded by United Way, and who have in turn given back to the community.

Starting at $3.50/week.
