Lakeshore Flea Market returns this weekend
SHERIDAN — The first Lakeshore Flea Market of the season will be at the VFW Memorial Post, 2556 Route 20. The hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The flea market will run the first Friday night and Saturday each month from this month through April. New this season will be “Cash for Christmas.”
Starting this month and continuing through November and December, patrons may purchase tickets for a 50-50 cash drawing to be awarded at the December market. One ticket is $2 with three tickets $5. The more tickets you buy, the better your odds and the bigger the stuffing for your holiday sock.
One lucky winner will receive half of the amount for “Cash for Christmas” and the other half for our well deserving veterans. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, Dec. 7. You do not have to be present to win.
The VFW again will be offering two free fish dinners per flea market. Just come and shop at the flea market and fill out a ticket. No purchase is necessary for the dinners.
In addition to the flea market and Friday night fish fry, the VFW will be offering Saturday breakfast and lunch. The menu includes breakfast sandwiches on homemade biscuits, Fresh Brewed Coffee. At lunch, there is homemade soup of the week, Pizza and Wings.
Reservations are recommended for the fish fry. You may dine in or take out.
