NOCO purchases Dunkirk-based business
NOCO LLC announced the acquisition of assets of Global Environmental Industrial (GEI), a Dunkirk-based industrial and environmental cleaning company specializing in small to medium-sized projects.
Assets from the acquisition will be rolled into NOCO’s Environmental Services division, which includes several vacuum trucks, GEI’s industrial client database, and GEI’s Dunkirk office located at 3501 Chadwick Drive. NOCO will continue to operate environmental services out of this new location, in addition to its full suite of residential and commercial energy solutions.
“Environmental services continue to be an area of growth for us and this acquisition of assets gives us the opportunity to expand not only our offerings, but also our industrial experience and geographic footprint,” said Michael A. Casciano, NOCO’s president and chief operating officer. “GEI fits in with NOCO’s strategic goal to be a full-service energy and environmental company to our customers across New York State.”
Through this strategic acquisition, NOCO expands its range of environmental services, which already includes waste oil recovery, vacuum services, containerized waste services, emergency response, remediation, and field services such as tank cleaning, general maintenance and industrial cleaning.
“The acquisition of GEI allows NOCO to offer our customers additional services like water blasting and dry ice blasting, which offer an efficient and cost-effective way for industries to clean and prepare equipment,” said Bryan Zurowski, NOCO’s vice president of environmental services.
Kevin Austin, GEI owner, has been hired as director of sales for NOCO’s Environmental Services.
