Dom Polski Club approves new officers, directors

The Dom Polski Club, Polish Literary & Assembly Rooms Inc. in Dunkirk held its annual meeting and elections.

President Lisa Kozlowski opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for deceased club members, while reading the names of members lost in the past year.

Financial secretary, Lori Richardson, gave the annual financial report.

Kozlowski then gave her report on repairs, projects, and major expenses for the year.

Joe Rozen was appointed election marshal, who in turn named Ray Pauszek, Pat Odebralski, and Sue Gotowka as tellers.

Kozlowski was re-elected president, Tim Gotowka, vice president, and Lori Richardson, financial secretary. Odebralski was elected recording secretary, and Sarah Sobilo, treasurer.

Elected as three-year directors were Paul Briggs and Kirt Wolnik. Krytle Correa was elected to fill a two-year term, joining the other directors, Melissa Meyer, Larry Gregoreski and Laura Beehler.

Christine Eggleston was elected to a three-year auditor’s position, and Sue Gotowka to a one-year term, joining Ray Rushboldt.

Rozen then administered the oath of office. The meeting was adjourned.
