League of Women voters hold ‘Immigrant Journey’ discussion

The League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County recently held a panel discussion on “The Immigrant Journey” at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Temple Street in Fredonia. The panelists were John C. Starkey, principal of Lafayette International High School in Buffalo; Sheila Starkey Hahn, Law Offices of Sheila Starkey Hahn; Momina Di Blasio Manager, Immigrant Support Ministry New Neighbor Coalition, St. Luke’s Church, Jamestown; Josephat Iyamuremiye, student at SUNY Fredonia and founder of Hope and Peace International; and Andy Nash Cammarata, Director of Outreach, Volunteers and Housing, Journey’s End Refugee Services, Buffalo. The discussion was very informative and well received by all attendees.
