Forestville man sentenced in drug, weapon incidents
A Forestville man has been sentenced for drug and weapon charges.
Jesse Erhard, 34, was sentenced Thursday by Chautauqua County Court Judge David Foley to seven years in state prison on a violation of probation for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and five years in state prison on a violation of probation for second-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon. These sentences will be served concurrently with a three-year term of post-release supervision.
In August 2023, Erhard was arrested following a search warrant executed by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. In December 2023, Erhard was indicted by a Chautauqua County Grand Jury for charges of third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. In September 2024, he pleaded guilty to the charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and five years in state prison on a violation of probation for second-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon
On March 10, Erhard violated his probation after being arrested by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and road patrol. These charges were covered by the admission of the violation of probation.
District Attorney Jason Schmidt would like to thank the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office “for its work on these cases and the Chautauqua County Department of Probation for their diligent supervision of probationers.”
