Fredonia Farmers’ Market moves downtown for summer

On Saturday, the Fredonia Farmers’ Market will move outdoors to the summer location on historic Barker Commons in the heart of the village. Summer hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and continue until the end of October.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market offers a variety of locally produced meats, eggs, fruits and vegetables, baked goods — traditional, gluten-free and keto, maple products, raw local honey, fine herbal body-care products, fresh and dried flowers, potted plants and herbs and artisan craft goods. In addition, delicious prepared foods from around the world are ready to satisfy your growling tummy.

Throughout the summer season, Fredonia Farmers’ Market provides a Saturday morning gathering place for shopping, children’s activities, music and a connection to other village and community entities. The Barker Library & Museum, the 1891 Fredonia Opera House, 4-H, the League of Women Voters, & other local non-profit groups are all partners in our mission to provide a common meeting ground, & support our community as a whole. Every dollar spent on fresh, locally grown food supports farming neighbors.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market accepts cash, credit cards and SNAP benefits, and is always handicapped accessible.
