Grape Belt Seniors have announced coming day trips for 2025. They include:

— Saturday May 31 attending “Ain’t too proud” at Shea’s for a 2 p.m. performance based on the history of the Temptations. Dinner to follow at Ilio DiPaolo’s. Trip is full at this time, but you can go on a cancellation list. Leaving from Walmart at noon and returning at 7 p.m.

— On June 30, there is a trip to Niagara On The Lake which includes Niagara Whirlpool Aero Car, lunch at the Garden Cafe, Butterfly Conservatory, and time at NOTL.This trip also has a cancellation list. Leaving Walmart at 8 a.m. and returning at 7 p.m. You do need a passport or enhanced license for this trip.

— On July 22 the trip is for the Matinee Comedic show at Niagara Casino. The show is filled with history and humor starring stand-up comic host Joel Dombrowski. He will be revealing 300 years of history, humor, and compelling stories of daredevils and tightrope walkers. Price is $50 and it includes the show, $25 in slots and $5 toward food. Leaving Walmart at 10:30 a.m. and returning at 7 p.m.

— Aug. 3 is “Queen for a day” with Joel Dombroski as Tour Host. It begins with brunch and a beverage at the Barrell Factory. Next is a cruise on the “Big Kahuna Tiki Boat” with a special beverage. There will be a ride on the Historic Buffalo Heritage Carousel at Canalside and then on to the Magic Bear Beer Cellar at Larkinville for yet another beverage. A stop on the way home will be at Parkside Candies for a sweet treat included with your visit. Leaving Walmart at 10:30 a.m. and returning at 5:30 p.m.

— On Oct. 1, the group will be traveling on the Arcade and Attica Train. Having lunch at the Turkey Run Golf Club and there will be a stop at Merritt Winery for a wine tasting. Leaving Walmart at 9:30 a.m. and returning at 6 p.m.

— Spragues and Sites will be on Oct. 15 in Portville. The group will start out at the Rusty Rooster Farm, Vintage and the Chocolate Roost. Next it’s on to Spragues for lunch with three choices for your meal. After lunch we will make our way to the Basilica of St. Mary the Angels in Olean. The last stop will be the Cuba Cheese Shoppe. Leaving at 8:15 a.m. from Walmart and returning at 6 p.m.

All trips are first paid, first reserved and if you need to cancel after the trip is finalized, you may find someone to take your place as there would be no refund. New Members are welcome to join the seniors group and you need to be a current member to do the trips and other activities. The next potluck luncheon is on May 21 at the Masonic Lodge at 11:30 a.m. Members need to bring a dish to pass. Beverages will be provided. Exercise Class is on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, from 9 to 10 a.m. and Game day (Domino’s) is on Fridays after class.
