On June 10, School 7 welcomed Bonnie Lockwood, Regional Director of Western New York, and Frank Puglisi, Western New York Southern Tier Regional Representative for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties, both representing Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office. They were warmly welcomed upon entry by our spirited mascots with smiles and positivity. Principal Angie Penhollow then took our guests on a tour of School 7 accompanied by incoming Superintendent Brian Swatland. Penhollow did a fantastic job showcasing all the great things happening at School 7. Our guests spent time visiting classrooms and joining curious second-graders during a Q&A session about state government. They also enjoyed a tour of the building. Tour highlights included our Data Wall, Student of the Month photos, Attendance and PAX Incentives, and Buddy Bags filled with transition tools to support students during periods of frustration or dysregulation.
