Tim Hortons assists with special edition

John D’Agostino, editor of The Post-Journal and OBSERVER, poses with Laurel Memorial Run/Walk co-founders Wayne and Elaine Hotelling; members of the Kron family, which owns and operates the Tim Hortons franchises in Northern Chautauqua County; and representatives from Nestle Purina company. The group gathered at the Time Hortons location on Lake Shore Drive to promote the annual Laurel Run newspaper sale. The OBSERVER will print a special Laurel Run edition Wednesday. Volunteers will sell the papers from 6 to 10 a.m. at Tim Hortons locations in Dunkirk, Fredonia, Cassadaga, Silver Creek and Irving, as well as downtown Fredonia. Nestle Purina also requested a supply of papers to sell to employees at their Dunkirk plant. The 29th annual Laurel Run/Walk takes place July 18 and 19. Proceeds from the event and the newspaper sale will benefit people with disabilities through The Resource Center and Filling the Gap, Inc.
