Car fire doused on Thruway

Multiple departments responded to a car fire on the New York State Thruway on the westbound lanes before the Dunkirk-Fredonia exit. Heavy smoke was showing from the vehicle around 1:30 p.m. The blaze was near New Road and mile marker 466.4.
