International Film Fest Held Today In Jamestown

Jamestown is hosting the International New York Film Festival for one day Friday at the Cappa Theater of the Robert H. Jackson Center, 305 E. Fourth St.

Screening 25 films of all genres from around the world all day from 10 a.m. and ending with the Diamond Globe Awards at 8 p.m.

The world premiere of the third film of the Sci-Fi, thriller “Beware the Dark” trilogy will screen at 6:30 pm. Beware the Dark 3 was filmed in Western New York with local talent.

The International New York Film Festival is an IMDb certified event and until 2020 was held in Times Square of New York City. Its Director, Diana Lenska, moved to Ellington, in 2015 and has been working to create a local independent film community under her production company Royal Realm Productions, which to date has produced six films in the Chautauqua County area.
