A jeep traveling experienced brake failure, leading the driver and passengers to exit the moving vehicle around 10 a.m. The unoccupied vehicle then continued through a ditch, crossed Felton Road in the town of Westfield and came to a stop near a grape field. Personal injuries were reported. Portland and Brocton Fire Departments, along with the Sheriff’s office, were on the scene.
