WMH Foundation holding “10 Days of Giving”

As the fundraising arm of the hospital, WMHF remains grateful to its numerous donors who donated close to $14,000 in outstanding prizes for ’10 Days of Giving for WMH.” Tickets may be purchased in person at the Foundation Office in AHN Westfield Hospital located at 189 East Main Street, Westfield, or by calling: 716-793-2338 or 716-793-2315 (Mondays through Thursdays) until the drawings begin mid-November.

WESTFIELD – For the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Thanksgiving season begins earlier than usual this year. Back for a third consecutive year, the hospital Foundation is hoping to count on your support for this well-received fundraiser in support of our beloved community hospital.

As sponsors of “10 Days of Giving for WMH” Raffle, the Foundation Board of Directors would like to thank its many donors in the hospital’s 14 service areas and neighboring communities. Numerous businesses and individual donors have stepped up to donate more than $13,000 worth of incredible prizes (ranging up to $650.)

Tickets can be purchased in the hospital lobby or by seeking WMHF Executive Director Patty DiPalma or a Foundation board member.

Every day for 10 consecutive days, beginning Monday, Nov. 17 leading up to Thanksgiving, a lucky winner will be chosen to win one of the following prizes:

— Nov. 17 — Hyatt Regency Buffalo Overnight Stay.

— Nov. 18 — Apple iPad + Apple Air Pods Pro compliments of Fredonia Walmart.

— Nov. 19 — Two pairs of Designer Sunglasses compliments of Drs. Steven and Carolyn Ihrig.

— Nov. 20 — Russell’s Grand Getaway.

— Nov. 21 — Weber Spirit II Grill compliments of ACME Appliances.

— Nov. 22 — Smart TCL 50-inch TV compliments of West Herr Auto Group.

— Nov. 23 — Propane Fire Pit Table compliments of ADD Lumber.

— Nov. 24 — Hilarious Getaway at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel — a $500 value and includes overnight accommodations for 2, tickets to National Comedy Center and Lucy/Desi Museum.

— Nov. 25 — Athenaeum Hotel: one-night stay for two with gate passes and parking.

— Nov. 26 — Apple MacBook Air – compliments of Fredonia Walmart.

Multiple daily ‘Runner Up’ drawings will also be conducted, and lucky winners can expect to win gift certificates valued at a minimum of $50 compliments of: Blasdell Pizza, Buttercream Babe, Crosby’s, D&F Travel, trip to New York city, Jacks Barcelona Drive-In, Parkview Café, Tim Hortons, TOPS Friendly Markets, Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, TW Biggins, Wegmans and the White Inn. Gas cards from Citgo, Kwik Fill, and Mancuso’s are also available.

Other daily runner up drawings will include: a set of hard covered coffee table books depicting the rich history of Buffalo provided by The Buffalo News, artisan crafted pottery from Reno Pottery and vouchers to both Buffalo and Erie Philharmonic orchestras. One lucky winner also has a chance to win a silver ‘Circle of Love’ necklace compliments of Kirk’s Jewelers. Car enthusiasts have a chance to win gift certificates for ‘car crowning protection’ compliments of Warren Motors. For those who ‘scream for ice cream’, Wells Enterprises/Blue Bunny has donated a gift card and coupons for all 52 weeks of the year.

Calarco’s Italian Restaurant, Churchill’s Bourbon & Brew at Presque Isle Downs, Quagliana’s Bark Grill and Westfield Nursery also donated gift certificates while The Athenaeum Hotel, Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, Chautauqua Suites and Seneca Gaming provided overnight accommodations for two. Gift baskets were donated by Full Strength Coffee, Peaceful Designs, Invention Room, Ralston Purina, and Johnson Estate Winery. Westfield Ag & Turf contributed a DeWalt Cordless Compressor. Finally, a priceless #26 Rasmus Dahlin autographed hockey stick was donated by the Buffalo Sabres.

Tickets cost only $20 each or 3 for $50.

Many are familiar with the hospital foundation’s mission and how it helps the hospital remain on the cutting edge of patient care. Now in its 47th Anniversary year, the WMHF, via its generous donors, continues its philanthropy by promoting outstanding healthcare.
