Penhollow seeks fourth term on Legislature
County Legislator John Penhollow of Stockton is seeking a fourth term on the Chautauqua County Legislature. First appointed in the summer of 2021 to fill a vacancy in District 7, Penhollow represents the towns of Stockton and Portland, including the villages of Brocton and Cassadaga, and a portion of the town of Chautauqua.
He has been endorsed by both the Republican and Conservative parties.
Before joining the legislature, Penhollow served 10 years on the Chautauqua County Planning Board as a volunteer, where he contributed to long-term community development initiatives. Currently, he serves on several legislative committees, including the Planning and Economic Development Committee, the Portland-Pomfret-Dunkirk Sewer Board, the North Chautauqua County Water District, and the Landfill Commission.
Penhollow remains dedicated to working collaboratively with his fellow legislators to ensure that Chautauqua County remains open for business, fiscally responsible, and a safe, welcoming place to raise a family.
A lifelong resident of Stockton, Penhollow is a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and Edinboro University. Since 2006, he has been a small business owner and is currently employed in the tree care industry with Kravitz Tree Service. He and his wife Angie have been married for 31 years and are the proud parents of three adult children — Robbie, Grace, and Isabella.
