Three Arrested After Narcotics Probe

Three Jamestown residents are facing several charges after narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, the Jamestown Police Department, and the Dunkirk Police Department executed a search warrant Oct. 16, at 1:46 p.m., at 130 Wilton Ave. in Jamestown.

Police said Kevin R. Raymond, 60 was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property; Katherine I. Wood, 25, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance; and Dalton M. Nuse, 24, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a stolen property.

According to officials the Jamestown Police SWAT Team entered the residence and found Raymond, Nuse, and Wood inside. Upon further investigation, investigators seized 91.8 grams of methamphetamine, 19.0 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, a stolen .22-caliber-handgun, and $2,048.

Raymond and Nuse were placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. Raymond, Nuse, and Wood will be in Jamestown City Court later.
