Brooks-TLC, Foundation raise $50,000 at golf outing
Former Buffalo Bill and Hall of Fame wide-receiver Andre Reed addresses the attendees of the 2025 Brooks-TLC Hospital System’s Annual Golf Outing.
Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. and the Brooks-TLC Hospital Foundation, Inc. are proud to announce the tremendous success of their recent annual Golf Outing, held at Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk. The event brought together a full field of golfers, local leaders, hospital supporters, and special celebrity guests, raising more than $50,000 in support of the hospital and its mission.
The day began with an enhanced VIP Meet & Greet on the Shorewood patio, featuring former Buffalo Bills stars Andre Reed and Joe DeLamielleure, along with former Buffalo Sabres favorites Rob Ray and Marty Biron, whose participation helped make this year’s outing especially memorable. Executives from Kaleida Health and Brooks-TLC welcomed local government officials and area business leaders, who also enjoyed inspirational remarks from the athletes before heading onto the course.
The tournament concluded with the foursome from J.W. Danforth Company taking top honors.
“We were thrilled with the success of this year’s golf outing,” said Ken Morris, president and CEO of Brooks-TLC Hospital System. “Bringing together our community, supporters, with some of Buffalo’s celebrated sports figures made for an unforgettable day that truly reflects the spirit of teamwork and generosity that drives our mission.”
Funds raised from the outing directly benefit the Brooks-TLC Hospital Foundation. Traditionally, the Foundation designates proceeds for medical equipment and technology upgrades at the hospital. Past golf outing contributions helped to purchase a new portable X-ray machine. This year’s proceeds are expected to support items for the new Brooks Hospital.
Brooks-TLC Hospital and the Brooks-TLC Hospital Foundation extend their gratitude to the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners whose generosity made this event possible.
“This event demonstrates the incredible strength of our community and the importance of investing in local health care as we look to the future with the construction of our new hospital,” Morris said.
Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to the communities of Northern Chautauqua County.
