DFT supports ‘Bundle Up For the Holidays’

Dan Siracuse, Marketing and Public Relations Manager for DFT Communications, with Al Majka of Chautauqua County Rural Ministry.

As part of an ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, the employees of DFT Communications, members of their families and several customers and neighboring residents in the community are invited to join their efforts to help out a neighbor in need.

Through their generosity, the annual DFT Communications “Bundle Up for the Holidays” tree continues to be a great success. The tree is located in the lobby at The DFT Communications Customer Service Center at 38 Temple St. in Fredonia, and will be accepting donations through the holiday season.

All donations of new hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, blankets, jackets and other warm winter items are being collected and will be donated for distribution to those in need in the area by the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry this holiday season and over the winter months. The donations of warm items began to be collected in November and will be accepted through right before the holiday when they will be delivered to the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry offices and distributed just before and after the Christmas holiday.

“All of us at DFT are very proud of our commitment to this annual community service project. Our employees and many customers and neighbors in the community as well as many local businesses have donated items to keep those in need warm during the cold weather months for many years now. It warms our hearts to know that we can at least reach out and help some of their needs through this annual project. It is our hope and intention to remain committed to this project for many years to come”, states Dan Siracuse, Marketing and Public Relations Manager for DFT Communications. “Everyone in the community is invited and welcomed to join in our efforts. All donations are greatly appreciated.”

DFT wishes to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has participated in the past and look forward to their continued generosity in the future in helping to keep those in need warm during the winter season.
