Audubon snow camps planned for Feb. 16, 18

At an Audubon Community Nature Center Snow Camp kids ages 4 to 12 can explore, play, climb, run, and engage their senses. Learning and play are the themes of the outdoor experience.

JAMESTOWN – Children can enjoy the winter holiday at one of Audubon Community Nature Center’s Snow Camps on Monday, February 16 or Wednesday, February 18.

Kids ages 4 to 12 can enjoy the winter holiday playing outdoors, being active, and learning about the season.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. they can play, climb, run, and engage their senses as they discover all that winter embodies. Campers may explore topics including what animals and plants are waking up and who is still asleep. Cold, wind, and ice change the landscape and bring new things to learn about, play with, and investigate. Learning and play are the themes of the day.

Children should dress for the weather, bring water and snacks and a lunch that does not need refrigeration.

Cost for either day is $48 for ages 4 to 12 or $36 for Nature Center member children. Additional siblings receive a $5 discount.

Enrollment is limited. Paid reservations are required by Thursday for the Monday camp or Monday for the Wednesday camp.
