Come to the Table for CASA calling table designers

The 18th Annual Come to the Table Auction is taking place on Thursday, May 14, at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron.

MAYVILLE — Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chautauqua County has announced its 18th Annual Come to the Table Auction, taking place on Thursday, May 14, at an exciting new venue — the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the live table auction beginning at 6:30. The evening will feature hors d’oeuvres, raffles, live entertainment, a cash bar, and more. Tickets are $20 and include entry into a door prize drawing. The public is invited to attend.

Come to the Table offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience, showcasing approximately 25 themed tablescapes creatively designed by local artisans, businesses, and CASA supporters. Both new and seasoned table designers are encouraged to participate, making this event a welcoming and inspiring opportunity for first-time designers and returning favorites alike. Guests can bid on the tables during the live auction, with the highest bidder taking home everything on the table — from gift certificates and experiences to decor, sports memorabilia, and more. Past themes have ranged from A Heroes Dinner, featuring a private meal and tour at the Jamestown Fire Department, to an immersive Joshua Tree National Park vacation escape.

“This year’s event is especially exciting as we welcome our supporters to a brand-new venue,” said Kathy Park, Executive Director of CASA of Chautauqua County. “The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel provides a beautiful setting for Come to the Table and allows us to elevate this beloved community event while continuing to shine a spotlight on our mission.”

Table designers will also compete for awards in five categories: most whimsical, most artistic, most original, most elegant, and people’s choice. Winners receive a certificate and bragging rights for the year. The event is a long-standing community favorite and a unique opportunity for groups and organizations to showcase their creativity while supporting a meaningful cause.

A table designer packet is available online at www.ChautauquaCASA.com. Table requirements are minimal, and themed tables may include gift certificates, experiences, antiques, and more. The table designer entry form is due Wednesday, March 25.

Come to the Table also offers numerous ways for local businesses and organizations to get involved through event sponsorships, which provide strong public visibility and recognition throughout the evening.

“This event would not be possible without the continued generosity of our supporters,” said Kelly Fiorella, Fund Development Coordinator of CASA of Chautauqua County. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gives so faithfully to our mission, allowing us to continue advocating for the most underserved youth in our communities. Come to the Table truly reflects the compassion and commitment of our community.”

Tickets may be purchased online, from any CASA board or staff member, or at the door. To become a sponsor, table designer, or to donate to the basket raffle, contact Kelly Fiorella at kfiorellacasa@gmail.com.

All funds raised from Come to the Table directly support CASA’s mission of recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in Chautauqua County.
