Antique Equipment Association plans Tuesday meeting
The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association invites members and those interested in agricultural heritage to attend its upcoming monthly meeting.
The meeting provides a forum for enthusiasts to discuss the preservation of antique machinery, plan upcoming community events, and share progress on the association’s Museum Rebuild Project.
The gathering will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Laona Church. Meetings will transition to the Club Grounds at 4578 Cemetery Rd., Stockton, starting in May.
These monthly gatherings are essential for the operation of the CCAEA. Members discuss the maintenance of the club grounds, the schedule for upcoming events, the annual show, and the ongoing efforts to rebuild the museum facility. The museum is a vital community asset that houses antique household exhibits, including vintage kitchen, laundry, and schoolhouse areas.
The CCAEA is always looking for new members who share a passion for \\\\\\\”vintage iron\\\\\\\” and local history. Membership benefits include voting rights, invitations to member-only events like the “Christmas in July” BBQ, and the opportunity to help preserve the mechanical and domestic history of Chautauqua County.
