Community Egg Hunt organizers thank host, sponsors
Event organizers and volunteers gather at the Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt hosted at Raymour & Flanigan in Jamestown.
Organizers of the recent Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt extend sincere appreciation to Raymour & Flanigan of Jamestown for generously hosting the event at its Fairmount Avenue location. The welcoming space and strong community support provided by Raymour & Flanigan were instrumental in creating a safe, calm, and inclusive environment for families to enjoy the celebration.
Event organizers also gratefully acknowledge TA Auto Repair & U-Haul Jamestown for its generous golden ticket prize basket donation, which added excitement for participating families, and GA Family Services for its donation of candy, helping to make the event festive and memorable for children in attendance.
“The success of this event would not have been possible without the generosity of our host and sponsors,” said event organizers. “Their support allowed us to provide a meaningful and welcoming experience for foster, adoptive, and kinship families in our community.”
The Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt was organized through a collaborative community partnership including the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services, CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates, CHQ Foster and Adoption Connection, and GA Family Services. The event brought families together for a morning of fun, connection, and celebration while highlighting the positive impact of community collaboration.
Organizers extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and support to help make the event a success.
The mission of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chautauqua County is to provide an independent voice in court, advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the pursuit of finding safe and permanent homes. CASA of Chautauqua County, Inc. relies on highly trained volunteers who are appointed by a Chautauqua County Family Court Judge to advocate for children in court. These volunteers work with relevant agencies and parties in order to advocate for the best interests of the child. With the information provided by the CASA volunteer, Family Court Judges are better able to make informed decisions as to what is best for the child.
