Education professionals group sets attendance record at March meeting

Chautauqua County Association of Educational Office Professionals gathered for a day centered on collaboration and professional growth in March.

BROCTON — The Chautauqua County Association of Educational Office Professionals (CCAEOP) reached a historic milestone in March, when it hosted its Fall/Mid-Winter Annual Meeting at the Brocton Central School District. The event drew secretaries from across the county, officially becoming the highest-attended meeting in the organization’s history.

A total of 33 professionals — including veteran CCAEOP members and non-member administrative staff from various county districts — gathered for a day centered on collaboration and professional growth.

The highlight of the event was a specialized professional development session, “Google Command Center: The Secretary’s Toolkit.” Led by CCAEOP’s Kathryn Hinds-Morrison, the workshop provided an in-depth look at how to maximize efficiency with Google’s suite of organizational tools. The training was designed to equip administrative staff with the digital skills necessary to manage the increasingly complex demands of modern school office environments.

The CCAEOP Executive Board extended its gratitude to the Brocton Central School District for hosting the event and praised the Event Planning Committee for its meticulous coordination.

In addition to fostering professional networking, the organization continues to support the local community by raising funds for two annual scholarships. These awards benefit Chautauqua County students: one for a student pursuing higher education and another for a graduating special education student.

By providing a space for meaningful growth, the CCAEOP continues to strengthen the administrative backbone of the Chautauqua County educational system.

Starting at $3.50/week.
