Final Sheridan flea market this weekend

SHERIDAN — The last flea market of the season will be at the VFW Memorial Post, 2556 Route 20. The hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

A huge thank you goes out to the VFW for hosting the market every month. And, another huge thank you to the OBSERVER for printing the press releases.

The VFW again will be offering two free fish dinners. Just come and shop at the flea market and fill out a ticket.

No purchase is necessary for the free dinners. In addition to the flea market and Friday night fish fry, Rene will be offering her scrumptious homemade breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Her grilled cheese is so big, rich and gooey and goes perfectly with the homemade soup!

The breakfast menu includes sandwiches on homemade biscuits, fresh brewed coffee.

Lunch is the homemade soup of the week, pizza and wings. The VFW offers a full service bar for a variety of beverages.

Due to the regular market date falling on Good Friday, the market was changed to this weekend. Several of the “regular” vendors had date conflicts, so there will be seven new vendors! Shop for original artwork, Pokemon cards, diecast cars, post cards, CD’s, jewelry, Tom Clark gnomes, local ephemera, vintage GI Joe’s, glassware, knives, military items and lots of rusty old stuff! There will be everything from new to old. So recycle, reuse and go green.

Starting May 2 and running every Saturday through Sept. 6, the flea market moves outdoors to Washington Avenue and Lake Shore Drive, Dunkirk. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All types of vendors are welcome.

For the Dunkirk Flea Market information at 716-680-0958.

Starting at $3.50/week.
