Festivals Fredonia gearing for Italian Heritage event
Fredonia’s Annual Festival Italia or otherwise known as the Fredonia Italian Heritage Festival will again be held at the Fredonia Beaver Club, 64 Prospect St., this year on June 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Festival Italia features craft and merchandise vendors, lots of music, and plenty of Italian food and wine. Listen to some great music from our Italian themed bands. Come eat food, drink some wine, shop, dance, laugh and have a good time!
Kicking off the activities in the morning will be the blessing of the festival followed by music from The Dave Golando combo, featuring popular musicians from the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, from 11:3 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Formula Band follows with very popular Italian dance music from Buffalo, bringing a touch of Italian flair to every event! They will take the stage from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Rounding out the day’s crowd favorite entertainment will be Mary and Gabriel Giuffre, aka The Happy Days Band, bringing high-energy and excitement to the festival from 4 to 6 p.m. You won’t want to miss this fun, interactive show!
During your time at Festival Italia, please visit one of the on-site local restaurants offering Festival Italia specials – Super Duper Catering, Coughlan’s Pub, Mark’s Blasdell Pizza, Rural Ministry spaghetti, meatballs and cannoli, Not Your Mother’s Kitchen, Chai’s Chocolates (Italian gelato and ice) and CIAO’s Italian cookies!
