Food drive letter perfect

The Mayville Post Office participated in the 2026 National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive” on May 9. Started in 1993, the food drive is held in May because most food banks face a depletion in donations from the holiday season. Thanks to the Mayville Post Office and their postal customers, approximately 1,330 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Mayville Food Pantry. Many thanks go out to all those who donated and to the Post Office personnel who organized and collected the food. Your very generous donations have helped to fill our pantry shelves with much needed food, allowing the Pantry to assist families in need who reside within the Chautauqua Lake Central School District. The Mayville Food Pantry, Board members, and all of our volunteers are deeply appreciative for the community’s continued support.

Starting at $3.50/week.
