Opera House presents Brass Ensemble in free performance
The U.S. Air Force Heritage Brass will have a free performance Friday at 7 p.m.
Kick off the Memorial Day weekend with a special concert by one of America’s lauded military musical ensembles! The 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center presents the US Air Force Heritage Brass in a free performance this coming Friday at 7 p.m.
Experience brass like you’ve never heard before! Heritage Brass explodes onto the concert stage with a sound that’s both thunderous and intimate. This 15-member ensemble, featuring blazing brass, dynamic percussion, and soaring vocals, brings the best of military tradition to life.
From breathtaking orchestral transcriptions to toe-tapping jazz standards and heart-stirring patriotic favorites, Heritage Brass delivers a diverse and unforgettable performance. Whether they’re rocking a concert hall or inspiring a crowd at a sporting event, these Air Force professionals showcase the service’s excellence and precision with every note. Activated in 1941, The USAF Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring public patriotism and enhancing esprit de corps among all the US military service branches. These world-class musicians are stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. They travel throughout the Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, presenting more than 350 events annually for the general public and in support of Airman morale and protocol events.
Admission to the performance is free, but tickets are required. Visit or call the Box Office at 716-679-1891 (Tuesday to Friday from noon to 4:30 p.m.) There is a limit of four tickets per reservation. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door, but this is not assured.
The 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center is a member-supported not-for-profit performing arts center with a mission to “present the performing arts for the benefit of our community and region … providing access to artistic diversity … and high-quality programming at an affordable price.” It is located in Village Hall in downtown Fredonia.
