The building of a former liquor store in Jamestown has been sold.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from March 9-15. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk’s office.

During this time period, 1370 E. Second St., Jamestown was sold to M.A.P. Professional Services, LLC of New York City for $50,000. This was formerly Bardos Liquor Store. The building appears to be empty.

From March 9-15 there were six sales that were $300,000 or higher. They are as follows:

– 963 Fairmount Ave., Ellicott was sold for $1,675,000. This is the former Rite Aid building and has been purchased by O’Reilly Auto Enterprises. See separate story.

– 1234 Overhiser Rd., Hanover sold for $650,000.

– 116 Bliss St., Westfield sold for $460,000.

– 3728 Rt. 83, Pomfret sold for $375,000.

– 5987 Hidden Valley Lane, Chautauqua town sold for $309,000.

– 4186 Hewes Road, Chautauqua town sold for $300,000.
