Babcock sworn in as district director for state clerks

WESTFIELD — Andrea Babcock, Town Clerk for the Town of Westfield, has been officially sworn in as District 10 Director for the New York State Town Clerks Association during the Association’s April Conference held in Albany.

As District 10 Director, Babcock will represent and support town clerks across Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. In this leadership role, she will serve as a liaison between local clerks and the statewide association, helping to promote professional development, communication, and advocacy on issues important to municipal clerks.

Babcock is a Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) in New York State, a designation that reflects her commitment to excellence, continuing education, and high professional standards in municipal service.

“I’m honored to serve District 10 and to work alongside such dedicated professionals,” Babcock said. “Town clerks play a vital role in local government, and I look forward to supporting my colleagues and strengthening our communities.”

The New York State Town Clerks Association provides education, training, and resources to town clerks statewide, promoting effective and efficient local government.
