Hideaway Bay Art Fest eyed for September

SILVER CREEK — Hideaway Bay Resort is pleased to announce the inaugural Hideaway Bay Art Festival, a lakeside celebration of art, community, and regional culture taking place on Saturday, Sept. 12 along the shores of Lake Erie in Silver Creek.

The one-day juried festival will bring together artists, makers, musicians, and food experiences in a curated waterfront setting designed to highlight the creative energy of the Great Lakes region. Guests will be invited to explore a Beachfront Artist Village and an Indoor Artist

Showcase hosted inside Drift restaurant at Hideaway Bay Resort.

Applications for artists and makers are now open, with a submission deadline of June 15. “This festival is about gathering people on the shores of Lake Erie to celebrate the creativity of the Chautauqua region and the broader Great Lakes community,” said Christian Edie, Owner of

Hideaway Bay Resort. “As summer begins to wind down, we wanted to create a day where people can slow down, spend time by the water, and experience the work of local artists. It is about connection, landscape, and the shared experience of being on the lake together.” The festival welcomes artists working in painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, and mixed media. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 42 Lake Ave. The festival will feature both outdoor beachfront booths and indoor curated spaces within Drift restaurant, offering artists flexible, high-visibility opportunities to engage with attendees throughout the day.

Applications are open now through June 15, 2026. Selected artists will be notified on June 26. Booth fees and additional details are outlined in the application process.
