Patterson Library seeks donations for Annual Benefit Auction
WESTFIELD – Patterson Library is now accepting donations for its Annual Benefit Auction, which will take place Wednesday, Aug. 19. The library is inviting community members, businesses, and organizations to help make one of its largest annual fundraisers a success.
Each year, the Benefit Auction brings together supporters from across the community for an evening of food, fun, and fundraising while supporting library programs, collections, services, and stewardship of the library’s historic building.
The Auction Committee is currently seeking donations of themed baskets, gift certificates, merchandise, experiences, services, handcrafted items, and individual items that can be combined into auction packages or basket raffle offerings. Donations from local businesses and individuals help create the unique assortment of items that has made the event a community tradition.
Businesses that contribute donations also receive recognition through event promotions and displays, offering an opportunity to connect with community members while supporting a local nonprofit organization.
Those interested in donating may drop off items at Patterson Library or arrange pickup with library staff. Donations are requested as early as possible to assist with planning and promotion.
Patterson Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations may be tax deductible.
